They think the scales tipping against them, the verdict coming down, the sentence being handed out by someone who has the power to decide their worth.
But that is not what Judgement is.
Judgement is the moment of absolute clarity. It is the moment when you finally see yourself — not through the eyes of the people who diminished you, not through the lens of the systems that tried to erase you, not through the filter of every voice that told you to be smaller, quieter, more acceptable, more palatable, more like someone who doesn't make people uncomfortable.
